Passendo is proud to announce that it has been named to the Innovation – Startup shortlist in the 2018 Danish Digital Award (DDA). The annual awards celebrate Denmark’s best digital projects.

Passendo is a programmatic email ad server and supply-side platform (SSP). It is designed for advertisers and marketers, allowing them to run display and native ads across hundreds of premium newsletters.

This year’s winners for the Innovation – Startups category will be determined by a jury of eleven industry experts, with Kim Jong Andersen, as the Jury Chairman.

The Danish Digital Award’s jury is composed of advertisers from all over the country. In total, there are 120 competent experts: marketing managers and digital, PR, communication, and creative experts who have come together to recognize the best examples of digital work developed in Denmark.

Out of 351 submissions, the DDA has nominated 129 submissions in the categories of:

Passendo delivers high quality native and display advertising in a cookie free and exclusive network. The Passendo email engine uses a unique identifier to track the opening and performance of ads.

Across many newsletters, it can keep track of campaign history for individual users in order to bind the correct impression and click to the right campaign. Active ad selection during each email open enables normal and advanced features, including eCPM optimizations and several campaign period pacing and geo and device targeting options.

Passendo makes it easy to manage a network of email newsletters, integrating internal and external campaign sources. Currently, Passendo only supports image ads. However, these image ads can be hosted by the Passendo platform, or hosted externally and still served optimized by Passendo.

Passendo works with newspaper and magazine publishers of all sizes in several categories such as music, home and garden, travel, and business, among others. The company serves ads for more than 150 premium international newsletters delivering 100 million monthly ad impressions and 10 million unique users.
